　　ジョージ・Ｈ・Ｗ・ブッシュ元大統領の指名による政権入りの可能性を前提にした身元調査の一環として、ＦＢＩはジョブズ氏本人と同氏を知る人々にインタビューを実施。資料によれば知人として対象になったのは匿名の仕事関係者で、ジョブズ氏の性格や麻薬使用、偏見を持っている可能性について判断する基となった。
